How it all started

Being based in Heathfield, we work alongside many local businesses. We already knew one of the directors at Super Event and we also knew they were looking to update their website. They initially got in touch by emailing us with a couple of general website questions, which we answered. Then there was a bit more communication, resulting in us popping in to have a chat! Things progressed from there and we were then asked to be in charge of producing an amazing website that would really showcase what this wedding and events company does.

A bit about our new clients

Super Event have been working with couples for many years now, creating wonderful wedding days for them and offering the “Complete Package”. This involves sourcing the venue, either one that Super Event are preferred caterers for, or having a marquee in a chosen garden or other venue. Then providing top class catering and menus that each couple actually gets to try before they decide. As well as this, there are drinks packages available, staff on the day and an Event Manager for each couple.

What we liked about Super Event was the fact that they are also so versatile. They always do their best to accommodate each and every request that couples have. You only have to look at the reviews to realise this!

Tasting Days at Super Event

Both Directors of Sokada, Julian and Jude were invited to one of their tasting days, at Slaugham Place in West Sussex. This really gave us an insight as to how the company work; very hands on, an amazing venue with ideas for accessories and decoration and, most importantly, exquisite food. They enjoyed the day, mingling and chatting with prospective Super Event couples and really got a feel for what people look for when choosing a wedding events company.

The Brief

Tony and Chrystelle wanted a website that is clear and really makes it easy for their couples to understand what will happen on the run up to their wedding and on the big day itself. They wanted to add some great photographs as well as having real life testimonials with photographs from couples who had previously employed Super Event for their wedding. They just wanted it to look fantastic!

We updated their logo which has then been incorporated through the website. We used their colours and designed something really classic. This will now give a great and lasting first impression for people once they have found them online. We also developed the new website so it is modular – there are now many options that can appear on any page that add depth, warmth as well as information for each visitor’s initial experience of the company.

Online Marketing Work

Julian would pop in every so often to give the guys at Super Event an update on what was happening and on these visits, they would discuss the marketing, going forward, for the business. Working throughout Surrey, Sussex and Kent, the Super Event Directors wanted to ensure they had an effective presence in all areas and now this is what Sokada have been tasked to do.

Through social media, local landing pages as well as some great looking blogs, we are steadily growing their online presence and ensuring they are seen for as many prospective happy couples as possible.

A great job to do and we are looking at continuing this relationship, going forward.
