With the hot weather here to stay, in the office it can get extremely hot! Trying to keep cool is often a distraction. Follow our tips today in order to keep cool in the office tomorrow!
Keep cool with your Trusty Fan
Anything that helps airflow is perfect to beat the heat. Having at least one fan, ideally multiple if you have a lot of staff, means that they will be more productive. This is because they will then be working at a comfortable temperature in the heat.
Remember to use a paperweight to keep your paperwork in order. The last thing you would want is for all your important information to fly away!
Open the Windows
Air will circulate a lot easier if you open as many windows as you possibly can. Let the breeze in! This will not only keep your staff cool – but also prevent them from becoming sluggish in the heat.
Take advantage of Natural Light
Instead of using office lights that will generate heat – use the sunshine. Not to mention it will save money on electricity!
Keep Hydrated
Ensure that in the office there is enough water to go around all your staff. Make sure that they have access to a water station and encourage them to drink throughout the day. This will prevent anyone from becoming tired and therefore unproductive.
